Live microgreen trays and a fresh harvest in a bowl from Noble Planter

Grown to Order: What That Means at Noble Planter

When you order microgreens from Noble Planter, they aren't sitting in a warehouse waiting to be sold. In fact, in many cases, they haven't even been planted yet.

That's what grown to order means.

At Noble Planter, our microgreens are planted with our customers in mind. Whether we're preparing an upcoming subscription order, growing for one of our restaurant partners, or fulfilling another local order, we plan our growing schedule around what our customers actually need.

Why Grow to Order?

Microgreens are at their best when they're fresh. By growing based on demand rather than keeping large amounts of finished product on hand, we're able to focus on a few things that matter:

  • Freshness: Your microgreens are harvested close to when they'll actually be used.
  • Less waste: We aren't growing large quantities just to hope they sell before losing quality.
  • Better planning: Each tray has a purpose before it reaches harvest.
  • Local production: Everything is grown locally and delivered by hand - not shipped across the country.

Freshness Takes a Little Planning

Because we grow to order, Noble Planter isn't quite like grabbing a container of greens off a grocery store shelf. Microgreens need time to germinate, grow, and reach the quality we're looking for before they're harvested.

That means some orders require a little advance notice - but we believe the wait is worth it.

When your Noble Planter microgreens arrive, you're getting something that was intentionally grown for an order, harvested locally, and handled with care from seed to delivery.

Grown for you. Harvested fresh. Delivered local.

That's what grown to order means at Noble Planter.
